ABOUT ALL THE WORLD... /// Performance is happening all the time around us. “All the World…” highlights the mundane and awkward aspects of human existence and interactions. Operating as a mirror to the audience, performers gathered in close proximity, each focused on their own action like filing their nails or chewing gum. Some stared at the ground while others tapped or twiddle their thumbs. Some played catch and others appear to be napping. The actions were fairly routine and part of people’s daily life, but they were reexamined when placed within a gallery and viewed by an audience.
